Building a Brewery

Inside the New Brewery: Pre-Renovation

Jul 24, 2014

You are all probably wondering what the place looks like inside? Here it is below. Notice all of the space for signage!

Below is an already-finished room – check out the granite (I think)!  This is half the space. I’m thinking some dark-finished natural rough wood would be great accents to this floor.  Not sure on a wall color.   Drop ceilings and lighting is nice…though I’m not sure if ‘white’ is a good color for this.  Any interior decorators here?  Any unique ceiling tile treatments?

Trying out some existing bar stools (not what we are going to use) for spacial configurations.

Yeah, a big room.

This is the very left corner of the building. This room is where a large TV will go for big game days and it can also be configured for special events.

Now is the right half of the building.  This is the deeper half and where the brew-side will be positioned (without the drop ceiling)

Peeking above the drop ceiling – very clean and already painted (remember Cheryl’s Daily Grind?)

This will be a small TV/game area with possibly some couches, large ‘coffee’ table and small, bar sized tables.

Back-half of the right side. Lot’s of room for kitchen stuff, utilities, bottling, etc.

More room!

Since the interior is already nice and up-to-date, we will not alter the existing structure (we are not moving walls or building walls).  All of our utilities is where we want them.  We just have to figure out the color scheme, some flooring for the deep half of the building.  We also have to figure out how the bar will look and integrating the design theme with the rest of the space.

The next step is to start marking things off with tape for possible bar, kegerators, stools, tables, brewing equipment placement to make sure the workflow is good.
